As aMechanical Design Engineeryou will contribute to the development of our activities in the on HPC, SZC, EPR2 and SMR projects.
- Mechanical design :
o Special machines (conveying and handling equipment, gripping equipment, cutting processes, etc.)
o Lifting and handling equipment
In concrete terms, your missions are to:
> Design or modify special machines and/or specific tooling. This equipment and tooling may be linked to lifting/handling, conveying, component gripping and cutting operations, etc... ;
> System sizing
> Write technical notes at APD level:
o synthesis of input data, research and hypothesis on input data
missing
o description of machine sub-assemblies in context. Justification of the chosen solution in relation to customer requirements and a multi-criteria analysis (criteria to be defined).
o Pre-dimensioning of main components to validate dimensions and weight
o Description of operating modes
> Manage one (or more) designer(s) to produce drawings and diagrams, check drawings to be issued. Guidance and validation of technical choices
> Draw up specifications for the supply of designed equipment, in line with the planned development;
> Potentially participate in the supervision of studies carried out either by subcontractors
> Draw up budget estimates for equipment (from design studies to on-site commissioning) and write the associated cost memos.

Qualifications
Knowledge of the nuclear environment and associated constraints is desirable.
Experience in designing agricultural machinery (simple, robust) and/or lifting and handling equipment based on off-the-shelf components (rollers, actuators, sensors, etc.) and mechanically-welded structures.
You have an educational background BAC + 5 with a specialization in Mechanics.
You ideally have 3 years' experience.
You enjoy working as part of a team, but are also able to work independently thanks to your dedication and eagerness to learn.
