The Jules Horowitz Research Reactor (RJH), piloted by the CEAmeets an essential scientific and technological challenge: testing the behavior of materials and fuels under irradiation, in support of current and future nuclear reactors. The RJHcurrently under construction on the CEA at Cadarache, will be a unique experimental irradiation facility in Europe, available to the nuclear industry, research organizations, nuclear safety authorities and their technical support staff.
